Poem to Aphrodite

Recently, I decided to write two poems. This one utilizes Greek mythology to describe my potential bride (if she has blonde hair). She is described as Aphrodite, and her father is Zeus. I will soon be adding a second poem to my potential bride if her hair is chestnut brown.

As my eyes look to the morning light,

I catch a glimpse of someone fair.

She is a goddess adorned in white,

and be a beauty beyond compare.

None can fathom her radiant sight;

her breasts burn my heart with surprise.

She is more beautiful than any sight,

and is heaven's greatest prize.

Aphrodite, this admirer adores you now.

Your golden belt has usurped his will,

I pray that Zeus but allow,

that he grant the love which I feel.

Oh, divine deity,

leave me not alone.

You know the depth of my piety.

Please, come and be my own.
